Turn One Article Into a Week of Content

A strong article contains a newsletter, five social posts, a short video script and a lead magnet. Here is how to pull them out without starting from scratch.

Turn One Article Into a Week of Content

Writing a good article is the expensive part. Repurposing it is cheap, and it puts the work in front of people who will never visit your blog. One article can fill a week.

Monday: publish the article

Publish, add internal links from two older posts, and submit it in your search console.

Tuesday: the newsletter

Pick the single most useful lesson in the article. Teach it in 200 to 300 words with one example, then link to the full piece. Do not summarize everything; that removes the reason to click.

Wednesday: short social posts

Each H2 section usually holds one standalone tip. Turn three to five of them into short posts that make sense without the article.

Thursday: a short video

Script it as a hook, three points and a call to action. Under a minute is enough. Record it on your phone; clarity matters more than production.

Friday: a long-form social post

Tell the story behind the article: why you wrote it, what surprised you, what readers asked. Personal framing performs well on professional networks.

Weekend: a lead magnet

If the article has a checklist, a template or a step-by-step process, turn it into a one-page download and offer it in exchange for an email address.

Speed it up

AI tools are good at first drafts of each format. Give them the article and ask for one format at a time, then edit each draft so it sounds like you. The AI Article Prompt Builder includes rules that keep the drafts specific.
